Leaf Storm

Pictures from big storm! It was definitely a big storm! The trees still look a little naked.

These elms are very old. I think that was the only tree to lose that big of a branch, but several smaller branches were blown down, too. The goats were very happy! There are only a couple in the picture, cause this was 7:00 in the morning.

And a bridge, even!

The first time in a looong time that we've had puddles at the end of the driveway!

The poor half-stripped trees on the east side of the... trees! The wind was from the east.


The ground was plenty green to make up for no green grass!
And after chores, I had to grab the camera again. :) The sun and clouds (and puddles...) were too picturesque.



The sun flares were not intentional! Actually, the sun wasn't even supposed to be in the picture. I've discovered that the view finder doesn't show everything that'll show up in the picture.


I love how water ripples in the wind...
